I was surprised at the discrepancy between the advertised item and the actual product. This is the second time I've bought a non-book or DVD purchase from Amazon and both times I was disappointed. I thought when reading about this scarf, that at $30 (down from $150), I couldn't go wrong. Especially because I got free shipping, but it's not that warm; it's thin and looks like jersey knit; like the kind you get "free with purchase" at a department store when you buy something else. There is nothing wrong with the scarf, it is soft and though not as wide as I would have liked, $30 is an acceptable price. However, I cannot believe that this scarf would ever have been anywhere close to $150. It looks so pretty in the picture. I am angry at myself for being so naive. I can't return it because I live in Canada, and they don't ship this item here, so I'd have to send it back to my friend in the States who received it for me and then pay to have her ship it back to Amazon, which at $32 would cost the same as the scarf, so I'm keeping it. If you want a soft, long scarf, then $30, especially if you're in the States, is a fair deal, but don't expect you're getting a thick, gorgeous $150 scarf, inexpensively.
