The European loop
The European loop knot is best with thinner to medium thickness, long scarves. Heavy scarves will create a large and unattractive knot. This is a simple yet elegant knot that will quickly become one of your favorites. To tie this knot, follow the instructions below.
1-Fold the scarf lengthwise
2-Drape the scarf over your neck
3-Take the closed end of the scarf and open it like a loop
4-Take the two loose ends and put them through the loop
5-Pull the loose ends through the loop until you have achieved the desired tightness
For an elegant look, pull the loose ends until they are snug at the neck. For a more casual look, leave the loop loose. For a professional look regardless of the loop tightness, place both ends of the scarf inside of your coat or jacket.
