It can be worn casually or formally depending upon the remainder of the outfit. If your scarf is exceptionally wide, folding it in half prior to tying the knot will provide a more formal look when finished. To tie this knot, follow the instructions below.

1-Fold the scarf in half lengthwise
2-Drape the scarf around your neck
3-Take the end that is not looped and put it through the looped side
4-Adjust the scarf’s tightness to your comfort


For a more formal appearance, tuck the loose end of the scarf into your jacket or coat. For a more casual appearance, leave the loose end of the scarf outside of your jacket either in front or over the shoulder.
