1-Place the scarf around your neck leaving one side longer
2-Taking the longer end, wrap it loosely around the neck
3-Once around, let this end lay across your torso




The difference between this and the conventional once around knot is that this is worn “loosely.” Since warmth is not the goal, wrapping the scarf on the outside of your jacket collar behind the neck is allowable. Even worn loosely, the loose once around knot will prevent your scarf from falling off and leaving you out in the cold when you need it most.
